Not Fast Enough

Sonic couldn’t help but question who thought such an obvious trap would work on him. The very notion was straight out of some kind of cartoon.

However, as he questioned this, he was too slow to dodge out of the way of a strange, slimy creature that dropped down from above and enveloped his entire body, squeezing and shifting him all over. He could feel it as the creature merged with him. 

Eventually, the changes and merging seemed to stop, and Sonic stared at himself in both embarrassment and horror. He really didn’t know what happened, but he had been rendered very feminine in appearance.

That was when the creature spoke to him telepathically, explaining that its name was Blush, and that it had been confined for ages and was in need of a host. It also mentioned something about being freed by a garishly dressed jester with a white mask.

Sonic had heard about such a character from Mario, who was stuck as ‘Marina’ the last he heard. Well, it seemed like the two of them definitely had a common thorn in their sides.

On the bright side? There actually was chili dogs under the dome!
