Hope You Don't Fear Needles

I haven’t come up with a name for her yet, but this is a young Magical Girl who has always been a fan of magical girl fiction, wishing she could be one. She got her chance one day, however to her bad luck, the ‘Big Bad’ didn’t waste time and sent out all of their generals and minions to take over in one swoop. This left her with the task of dealing with protecting a world that has already mostly been taken over.

Also going against her is the fact that she’s just starting out, and is much weaker than she really figured she would be. However, she comes with the ability to steal the powers and magical essences of her enemies and absorb them into herself to get stronger the more she fights. In the beginning, she barely has any enhanced capabilities, but her capabilities improve the more she battles and absorbs.

Another trait of hers is that upon defeating an enemy general and jabbing them with her giant needle, she is capable of absorbing their power AND turning them into tiny fairy-like companions. These fairy companions allow her to ‘Mode Change’ into different states. Though in order to do so, she needs to take one of the fairies and swallow them. She’ll spit them back out later.
