An Alternate Turn

A bit of futzing about with the Fem Ben thing. I decided to have some more fun with alternate universe versions, especially since Omniverse showed how possible it is.

Here we have a Ben whose life was similar as Fem Ben’s right up to the Omnitrix Glitch and Malware issue. However, a divergence came from the fact that this Ben’s Grandpa Max ended up in a coma from the confrontation.

Flash forward some to where this Ben is stuffed into a dress by Gwen to try and get him out of his funk. While in the midst of this, they learned that Max had come out of his coma, but was in bad condition. Not having time to change, Ben was soon at the hospital in the outfit. Sadly, Max passed away, but not before jokingly telling Ben that ‘looked good in the outfit’ and that it ‘suited him’.

Though it was a joke, Ben clung to it as a sort of coping mechanism for his grief and kept on dressing more feminine. Though at the same time, he also ended up under quite a bit of stress and began lashing out.

Eventually, this led to Ben getting the idea to use Grey Matter to mess around with his omnitrix, discovering the Master Control once again, and he would even go on to using Grey Matter to learn more and tinker about, creating ways to allow his ‘normal’ self study and learn. 

Soon, Ben would create a dimensional travel device that allowed him to visit alternate universes, where he would encounter other Bens. Due to feelings of jealousy and annoyance in regards to seeing his alternate selves still male, he took to causing various problems for them and finding enjoyment in teasing and provoking the various Bens of various dimensions.

Eventually, he happened upon the ‘normal’, younger Fem Ben, and was actually both surprised and elated to find another him who would understand his situation. Granted, he would still cause occasional mischief for the poor boy, but the mischief would lack the malicious intent behind it. He would even help Ben with a few issues… provided the latter agreed to a shopping trip or ‘dress up’.

This Ben puts forth a bubbly and cute personality, which at the same time hides a mischievous and somewhat problematic mentality. He’s genuinely frinedly, but never quite ‘grew up’ mentally. He’s also embraced his feminine appearance and choice in clothing as a way to cope with things around him. Though he tends to cause problems for various Bens, he has a clear, obvious soft spot for any Grandpa Max he comes across. Due to use of Grey Matter, he is knowledgeable about the Omnitrix and various science and technology.

This Ben came about due to an interest in wanting to create an alternate ‘evil’ fem Ben. Though the idea gradually evolved into less of an outright evil one, and more of a sort of prankster with mischievous tendencies. Similar to how the various alternate Bens have a sort of ‘primary color’ associated to their world, this Ben has more of a Pink color theme.
